W.O.W. (Working on Wellness) starts on April 10th and ends on June 5th, 2010. We’re all busy working, living our lives, and squeezing in time to get, healthy. Join us as we share the tips and tricks that every busy person needs to stay active and healthy!
The goal of the WOW (Working on Wellness) challenge is to achieve a healthy weight and learn healthy habits by becoming the CEO of Quality of Life. To be worthy of the title “Quality of Life CEO,” you must successfully manage your different “departments” by completing weekly POGs (Plan of Goals) over the course of 8 weeks, and you must record your weight every two weeks. Prizes will be awarded based on the aforementioned tasks. You will learn about the economic and physiological costs of our lifestyle choices and habits. Let us help you become wise spenders!
This challenge is more individualized. You will have the opportunity to choose POG’s according to what is most appropriate for your needs. You will be responsible for posting your chosen POG’s to the Discussion Board. Some POG’s, however, will be assigned to you based on the “department” that you are managing on a given week as CEO. Each week, your Quality of Life will expand to include an additional department under your supervision. Make sure you don’t neglect any of your departments over the course of the challenge.
Weigh-ins will take place every other Saturday at Relax the Back, The Market Place, 13702 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, CA, 92602 between 10am and 1pm. See schedule below.
